HaïKaï
With Jessica Martin Maresco (voice), Heidi Heidelberg (voice) et Leila Martial (voice)
Teaser
Drawing inspiration from Kurt Schwitters’ Ursonata and Stockhausen’s prosodic language, these very short pieces provide an opportunity to play with words, manipulating them to embody a poetic, compulsive and torrential energy.
Anarchic and hilarious rhythmic games, humming, rumblings, vocal games and snippets of psychedelic melodies inspired by Japan…
“Entre souffles, onomatopées, cris et vocalises virtuoses, HaïKaï explore avec exaltation l’art de la polyphonie invraisemblable, puisant son inspiration chez Kurt Schwitters avec ses Ursonata, ou dans le langage prosodique de Stockhausen.” Article entier à découvrir sur FIP – Radio France
Coming Soon:
“Haïkaï chante Chamoiseau” is a new work that will take the form of a long poem written by Patrick Chamoiseau for the trio consisting of Jessica Martin Maresco, Heidi Heidelberg, and Leila Martial. This poem will explore a language that has dissolved and faded away, and the long quest for a primordial identity that takes root in a language which will emerge anarchically throughout the concert, ultimately “becoming human.”
